My passions are music and design. This weblog is devoted mostly to the latter, though I post artist and album recommendations occasionally.
Musically, I play mostly what is known as jazz. In addition to that style, I listen to R&B, hip-hop, MPB, Afrobeat, classical, latin, and some rock. You can check out my last.fm stats to see what I’ve been enjoying most recently.
I approach creative problem solving (“design”) holistically. Conceptual, interaction, and visual design are all important components of good design. That said, sometimes good design isn’t a requirement — witness MySpace! Meeting the needs of people is the goal.
