I can see the potential of the iPod serving as a repository for movies and sounds recorded by an iSight. Simply plug the iSight into the iPod (I believe the 2nd and 3rd generation iPods would need an adapter) and you're ready to shoot low resolution video or record audio. The video wouldn't be of the highest quality because of the relatively low speed of the iPod's processors, but you could probably get decent audio.
Audio recording is likely to appear first given the processing demands of video. Additionally, audio could be played back at full quality - not an option for video on the iPod's screen.
