Speaking of ratings, iTunes should adopt the same keystroke convention seen in iPhoto and Curio: Command-1 for 1 star, Command-2 for 2 stars, etc. The existing keyboard shortcuts could be remapped as Command-Shift-i for the main iTunes window and Command-Shift-e for the Equalizer. From what I’ve seen of iTunes usage patterns, the existing keyboard shortcuts are seldom used, but ratings are fairly frequently manipulated.
