…a new PIPA-Knowledge Networks poll finds that Americans who plan to vote for President Bush have many incorrect assumptions about his foreign policy positions. Kerry supporters, on the other hand, are largely accurate in their assessments.

Whoever you support or are leaning towards, you ought to know their positions. John Kerry has laid out his positions and the majority of the poll respondents who support him knew his stances on issues such as international treaties and missile defense. For all his supposed clarity and straight-talk, George W. Bush doesn’t seem to have done a good job making his positions clear to those who support him. One might call that “sending mixed messages”.
