For single file transfers initiated in the file manager or by an individual dialog, zoom the window closed towards the filesystem location to which it was transferred. The big problem is that the Finder groups simultaneous separate copies into one window.

As with the zooming effect used when closing Finder windows, layering would of course be respected; a progress window in the background would zoom to its destination in the background.
