Through Buzz Andersen’s del.icio.us links, I found a cool WordPress plug-in by Jonathan Deutsch that adds a link next to words that are used as del.icio.us tags.

The two things I’d like to see added:

  • A slight rollover effect for the del.icio.us link, bringing it to full saturation when the cursor is over it. The current image could be made even a bit more subtle.
  • I don’t know if this could be done by Deutsch, but an option for visitors to turn them off; perhaps via a checkbox in the sidebar.

  1. Good ideas–I forwarded this post to Jonathan. Nice site design, BTW–I hadn’t been back here since you redesigned.

  2. Alas, I cannot take credit for the design — it’s by some fool (his words, not mine!) named Matt. His site is currently sporting a seasonally-adjusted version of this theme. I intend to create something of my own, but I’ll probably wait until the final release of 1.3.

  3. I’ve updated my plugin to incorporate your first suggestion. Thanks for the idea!
