Whatever happened to the Republicans’ respect for federalism and personal privacy?
As Terrance Heath points out, there is no small irony in Republican legislators blathering about their “Culture of Life” when they just voted for massive cuts to Medicaid, a program intended to help those who cannot afford health care. Rather than backing up their rhetoric, they voted to cut Medicaid funding so they can pass more tax cuts for the Upper Crustaceans.
Disgusting.
