The Intel Mac scored well in both the Quartz graphics and OpenGL graphics tests — matching or exceeding dual-2.5GHz G5 score.

Assuming the descriptions I’ve read of the Intel-based Development Kit Macs are accurate, they use an integrated graphics chipset, meaning their performance is abysmal compared to what could be expected with the latest from nVidia or ATI.


That’s correct–they’re using the integrated graphics.
Thanks for the confirmation. One can imagine how much better OpenGL performance will be with a Yonah Pentium M and a badass card from nVidia or ATI…
