Drag-and-Drop IM Quotes

  1. Click on a conversation participant’s buddy icon:

    Click on buddy icon in conversation
  2. Drag and drop to your e-mail client:

    Dropping IM on e-mail application
  3. A new message is created:

    New e-mail with IM quoted

    Assuming there is an e-mail address associated with the IM handle in your address book, the message is pre-addressed.

    I like this idea, even though it might have limited usage. I think it’d be nicer for AIM\iChat to provide that functionality, of offline messages. Having this would not hurt, though.

    Your convention of prefixing names with “Mr.” is kind of funny.

    I will have to agree. Also iTunes will not let you drag and drop to the Mail application. It would only seem logical. Apple might be worried about piracy, but then again you could it the long way.
