Date data detector in a Web browser

I didn’t see anything on the Snow Leopard Enhancements and Refinements page about Detectors being added anywhere but TextEdit.

    Speculation: Safari uses Webkit and Data Detectors is a part of Core Text. Are they mutually exclusive? (I don’t know.)

    Mail can parse structured text in HTML e-mail, so I imagine Safari should be able to access Data Detectors.
