To XTA777: You could try tapping that battery icon until you turn green ;)

The keywords here are what is said in the first paragraph: “Off the top of my head, I proposed what I mocked up and posted below—”

This is no joke, but rather a proposed solution to power management on the iPhone. I.e. the author (Membranophonist) has created a series of screenshots of how he envisions one solution.

Not bad at all ;)

That feels a bit busy to me. I also love metadata with my music, I think taking an approach similar to
close captioning in sync with the music would work as well. I would love the supplemental material and fold outs of my vinyl records to have a digital counterpart. Maybe a new image, for each song. Using core animation to pull out of the main cover art exposing a grid view of additional images, then pushing back into a new image with the corresponding track and metadata.
